Walk-Around Inspection

Before each shift, perform a thorough walk-around inspection to detect leaks, loose components, or damage. This includes checking the swing bearing lubrication, fuel level, and decals for legibility.

  • Inspect platform gates and footswitch function.
  • Ensure hydraulic hoses and cylinders are free of leaks and damage.
  • Check tire condition, tread wear, and wheel lug nuts.
  • Verify all control switches return to neutral properly.
  • Ensure platform and ground control labels are in place and readable.
  • Inspect the SkyGuard safety system if equipped.

Daily Maintenance

  • Check engine oil, coolant, and hydraulic oil levels.
  • Drain water from the fuel/water separator if applicable.
  • Test the tilt alarm and footswitch enable system.
  • Inspect for signs of fluid leaks under the machine.

Every 50 Hours

  • Lubricate swing bearing and pivot points.
  • Inspect air filters and clean or replace if required.
  • Check platform leveling and rotation systems for smooth function.
