Walk-Around Inspection
- Inspect bucket, arm, and boom for cracks, wear, or damage
- Check undercarriage including rollers, sprockets, and tracks for debris or leaks
- Verify hydraulic lines, couplers, and cylinders are free of leaks or wear
- Check mirrors, cab windows, and work lights for clarity and function
- Inspect fluid levels including engine oil, coolant, fuel, DEF, and hydraulic oil
- Ensure steps, grab handles, and handrails are secure and clean
- Inspect battery terminals, radiator fins, and control decals
Daily Maintenance
- Check engine oil and coolant levels
- Inspect hydraulic oil tank level and fill if needed
- Drain water separator from primary fuel filter
- Check track tension and clean track area of mud and debris
- Grease all lubrication points as marked on the machine diagram
- Check air filter indicator and clean or replace as needed
Every 250 Hours
- Inspect and lubricate swing bearing and boom pivot points
- Check and clean fuel tank strainer
- Replace hydraulic pilot filter and tank return filter if not already changed
- Check structural components for cracks or stress points
Every 500 Hours
- Replace engine oil and oil filter
- Replace primary and secondary fuel filters
- Clean radiator, oil cooler, and A/C condenser fins
- Check swing gear grease bath and top off if needed
- Inspect swing drive fasteners and torque to spec
