Walk-Around Inspection
- Inspect hydraulic hoses, lift arms, and cylinders for leaks or visible damage
- Check tires for wear, damage, and proper inflation
- Inspect the boom for cracks, bent plates, or worn pins and bushings
- Confirm that all safety decals and ROPS/FOPS labels are legible and present
- Check for leaks beneath the engine, transmission, and axles
- Ensure cab windows, mirrors, and steps are clean and secure
Daily Maintenance
- Check engine oil, coolant, DEF, and hydraulic oil levels
- Inspect and clean radiator, transmission cooler, and oil cooler fins
- Check and drain water separator if needed
- Check battery terminals for corrosion and ensure secure connections
- Grease boom pivots, swing bearing, and stabilizer legs (if equipped)
- Test horn, lights, gauges, and backup alarm for functionality
Every 50 Hours
- Grease all pivot pins and joints including lift, tilt, and extend/retract functions
- Inspect and adjust V-belt tension
- Check battery water levels and clean terminals
Every 250 Hours
- Change engine oil and replace oil filter
- Inspect and replace cabin air filter
- Check alternator belt and adjust if needed
- Torque boom and undercarriage fasteners
Every 500 Hours
- Replace hydraulic return filter
- Replace engine fuel filter and water separator
- Clean DEF injector and monitor system for buildup
Every 1,000 Hours
- Change coolant if not completed annually
- Replace hydraulic tank breather filter
- Check and service DEF filter
Every 2,000 Hours
- Change final drive and axle oil
- Inspect engine valve clearance
- Perform SCR system refresh if prompted by display
