Keeping your Manitou MTA 10055 in peak operating condition starts with the right parts and a solid maintenance routine. Ensure your telehandler stays in top shape with high-quality toggle switches, keys, fuel filters, and more. Built to handle the toughest lifting jobs, the MTA 10055 is supported by a thorough inspection and maintenance schedule that ensures dependable performance in the field. Don’t forget to stay on top of your maintenance—secure the parts you need to keep your Manitou MTA 10055 running smoothly!

Walk-Around Inspection

  • Inspect forks, boom chain, and tilt cylinder for visible wear, cracks, or damage
  • Check hydraulic hoses and cylinders for leaks or loose fittings
  • Inspect tires for pressure (62–70 psi), wear, and missing lug nuts
  • Verify battery terminals are clean and cables are tight
  • Inspect frame level indicator, platform decals, backup alarm, and lights
  • Ensure no loose parts on the outriggers, boom nose, or quick-attach system

Daily Maintenance

  • Check levels of engine oil, hydraulic oil, coolant, and diesel exhaust fluid (DEF)
  • Drain fuel/water separator until only clear fuel flows
  • Grease all required fittings including tilt cylinder, boom pivots, and driveline
  • Inspect radiator fins, dust ejector valve, crankcase breather tube, and horn function
  • Check tire pressure and transmission oil level

Every 250 Hours

  • Torque boom chains (68 Nm on four-section boom); check for stretch and sheave damage
  • Inspect and grease boom slide pads and pivot pins
  • Check axle differential and planetary gear oil levels

Every 500 Hours

  • Replace engine oil and oil filter
  • Replace fuel filter and water separator element
  • Clean or replace air filter and cabin air filter
  • Check battery condition and fan belt tensioner

Every 1,000 Hours

  • Replace hydraulic return filter element
  • Change transmission oil and clean suction strainer
  • Inspect and flush engine coolant system if needed

Every 2,000 Hours

  • Change axle differential and planetary hub oil
  • Flush and refill hydraulic reservoir oil
  • Check steering, main relief, and parking brake circuit pressures

Every 4,000 Hours or 3 Years

  • Replace DEF dosing unit filter (120 hp models only)
  • Inspect DEF pressure sensors, valves, and temperature modules

Annual Maintenance

  • Inspect radiator pressure cap, exhaust system, and all coolant hoses
  • Test PWP (Personnel Work Platform) System if equipped
  • Clean air conditioner condenser and re-check all decals and safety systems

As-Needed Maintenance

  • Replace damaged or worn filters, hoses, electrical components, or tires
  • Use diagnostic display to check and clear fault codes (SPN/FMI format)
  • Verify calibration of boom sensors, frame leveling, and tilt restrictors
